WHAT TO EXPECT AT FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH WEAVERVILLE

There are three Sunday School classes:

• Adults – 9:00 AM - Typically lasting 45 minutes, an elder will be teaching through various books to deepen understanding of the word of God. 
• Children Ages (K-3^rd Grade) – 9:15 AM 
• Children Ages (4^th-6^th Grade) – 9:15 AM 

Both Children’s classes (K-3^rd Grade and 4^th -6^th Grade) will range from understanding creation versus evolution, theology, and studying books in the Bible in detail. 

MAIN WORSHIP SERVICE:

• Starts at 10:30 AM.
• Each Sunday service is an act of worship to God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. 
• During a service, there are usually 4-5 songs, announcements, communion once a month, Scripture reading, prayer, offering, and the preaching of the word. 
•  Because of the high view of the word of God that First Baptist Church Weaverville holds, most sermons last 45 minutes – 1 hour. 
•  During main service, nursery (infant – 4 years old) and children’s church (5-11 years old) is available most Sundays. 
•  There is not a dress code, but please be considerate, modest, and keep in mind that we are gathering to worship God.
